Today was nuts.
My son, in short, got food poisoning and was violently ill. I took him to the emergency room at 1am ish and left at 4:30am. Ghads. He's ok; they gave him shots to stop the nausea and gave him an IV bag of saline. And there we sat and waited.
I was thinking- among other things of course- how on earth I was going to handle getting up to take my daughter to school in the morning- should I just stay up? Should I sleep the two ish hours and hope I'm not driving while sleeping? Or hope my husband can take her? But he's been up waiting for my call all night.
So... I ended up hopping up at 6am like it was nothin'. As a matter of fact, I felt better this morning than I did yesterday morning. What the heck!?
Breakfast- Same as yesterday- cereal, mango, banana, nutmilk.
Lunch- an apple!
Picked at some fries at work, and dinner is leftover fish and brown rice and green beans & veggies. Hey, get home at 9pm and I consider that healthy fare.
Nite!
About Me

- Wine Country, Ca, United States
- By day I am a Business owner, Mother and wife, house cleaner, taxi driver and laundress, obtaining physical health through raw food nutrition; this being my personal challenge. Actually I love cooking and learning new things, I am an on & off raw Foodist to help me with my Systemic Lupus; however I do eat raw fish and sometimes raw dairy. I guess I would consider myself a "raw pescatarian" aside from the occasional raw goats milk / cheese once in a blue moon.
Jo, I am a friend of Melissa's. Am curious about symptoms of fibromyalgia and how you discovered that a raw diet might help. Have you experimented with green smoothies (via Victoria Buotenko)? I have lots of muscle problems but have no diagnosis. Would love your input and enjoy reading your blog. email schpinkle@yahoo.com
