Happy Saturday!
Well.... I slept terrible. The room seemed hot during the night last night, and so I got up to crack the sliding glass door to the patio, which I have done for years- I LOVE fresh air when I sleep! Hopped back in bed, and of course started to hear flippin DOGS barking in the distance. Two dogs, back and forth, one further away than the other, the two obviously having some sort of discussion... You know how it goes, "maybe they'll stop in a minute" bark bark BARK bark BARK... blech... so I get up and shut the door, "so much for fresh air". I dreamed that I was in a hot air balloon and was stunned at the beautiful view. That was cool. Dreamt more but I don't recall now what it was. Usually when I dream, I don't sleep as well. not sure why.
Anyway, had a breakfast cereal with almond milk (Special K this time- not raw) and took my young coconut with me to work. My great big knife that I call my Hatchet is at work- it's the only one I can open coconuts with. So of course a couple staff members were checking it out and watched me open it and drink the water inside. One had a taste and said it tasted like the sweet milk at the bottom of the cereal bowl. Hm, maybe. I opened the empty container when I was done- split it in half with the hatchet- and scooped out the soft fleshy white meat inside.
Lunch consisted of leftover sushi rolls and sashimi- Ahi, Salmon, scallops, calamari salad (cooked) and some cucumber. Yummy and satisfying!
Dinner- Got home late due to having band practice tonite- I had an apple just prior to practice, and fresh figs- 3 I think- when I got home, and had about a 1/4 lb of turkey meatloaf from the other night with a couple slices worth of wheat bread baguette. I am wanting to incorporate some kind of cooked grain; preferably something like brown rice, maybe not so much a wheat item, but something to help keep things, uh... neverimind. :-)
More on that later.
Maybe.

About Me

- By day I am a Business owner, Mother and wife, house cleaner, taxi driver and laundress, obtaining physical health through raw food nutrition; this being my personal challenge. Actually I love cooking and learning new things, I am an on & off raw Foodist to help me with my Systemic Lupus; however I do eat raw fish and sometimes raw dairy. I guess I would consider myself a "raw pescatarian" aside from the occasional raw goats milk / cheese once in a blue moon.
