Here's my entry for Thursday; I got home too late to write.
I was one tired puppy this morning.
I think it had alot to do with staying up til oh, 12:30 playing rockband2 with the hubby and friends!
No breakfast at home- I was on the run but I did grab an orange for later and brought almond milk to Joebellas Coffeshop and Joe tasted the remaining few tablespoons. "Mmm, that's a mild flavor" he said. And on to his other customers he went. Had the orange (SUPER juicy from Nature's Touch in Templeton) and later on in the afternoon I was hungry and decided on a Shrimp louie. 5oz bay shrimp and the dressing was the only thing not raw. OH and the hardboiled egg. I think eggs might be okay to add in, they're so gentle on the body- not like digesting a hunk of meat. Maybe I'll do scrambled eggs with avocado and tomatoes and cilantro & whatever sometime this week.
Dinner consisted of.. uh, I did snack on some fritos.. had to push them away! Is it the salt I like? I HAVE been learning more about salt lately.. anyway, I made a smoothie - here's the recipe
Blueberry Smoothie
Almond milk, handful of blueberries, loose handful of spinach and a banana. SOOO good!!
Definitely helps to have well-strained nutmilk. I have seemed to lost my nutmilk bags- I can't imagine where on earth they are!! Eh, they're cheap so I ordered more on ebay.
I could probably make them myself if I had time.
I gotta try and post THE DAY OF... because I've forgotten some humorous things that happened yesterday that I'd like to have posted. Of course I'll likely remember them all when I'm miles away from a computer. ha!
About Me
- Jo
- Wine Country, Ca, United States
- By day I am a Business owner, Mother and wife, house cleaner, taxi driver and laundress, obtaining physical health through raw food nutrition; this being my personal challenge. Actually I love cooking and learning new things, I am an on & off raw Foodist to help me with my Systemic Lupus; however I do eat raw fish and sometimes raw dairy. I guess I would consider myself a "raw pescatarian" aside from the occasional raw goats milk / cheese once in a blue moon.
