About Me

By day I am a Business owner, Mother and wife, house cleaner, taxi driver and laundress, obtaining physical health through raw food nutrition; this being my personal challenge. Actually I love cooking and learning new things, I am an on & off raw Foodist to help me with my Systemic Lupus; however I do eat raw fish and sometimes raw dairy. I guess I would consider myself a "raw pescatarian" aside from the occasional raw goats milk / cheese once in a blue moon.

Sunday

See?  I didn't have time to blog yesterday and I forgot what I ate.

I'm sure I'll remember everything when I'm done with this entry.  It's just how it goes..  ha.
I don't think I ate breakfast- I did coffee (forgot to bring my almond milk to work) so had a soy mocha at Joebellas.
Lunch- what the heck did I have?  GAWD how could I forget?  I feel like a bonehead.
I went out to dinner with family- celebrated a late Christmas with my "bonus-mom and dad" with a friend and my hubby & kids  AT... Windows on the Water in Morro Bay.  I ordered a salad to start with and a seared ahi tuna (don't I get enough fish?) and it came with some soba noodles which tasted just ok.  The food presentation was gorgeous, but the taste was....  meh..  I had a taste of the husbands dinner and it seemed the same.  It was disappointing but at least I stayed raw for the most part. I was happy I didn't order something cooked that ended up not tasting good.  I mean ya know, if you're gonna blow your diet, do it WELL!

One thing I've noticed when being raw-  and typically only when you're 100 percent raw-  is that the flavors of your food EXPLODE in your mouth. Things start tasting so good-  and on the other hand, if you eat something let's say with salt, it tastes way TOO salty.  Food flavors are more pronounced on your tongue and your flavor pallete begins to change...

Anyways,  got home late and hit the hay.  It was fun having Christmas in January :-)
